Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is doing good this winter.
Over the past few years, there has been a lot of challenges to overcome.
Now, I am finally seeing the rainbow at the end of the storm. The last time I saw a rainbow was at a nearby lake in Alabama (Lisenby Lake).
Of course, I am no longer living in Alabama and currently reside in beautiful Iowa.

I created our very own Waldorf rhythm chart yesterday. I am so thrilled with how it came out! I used some watercolor paper and secured the back with an additional piece of watercolor paper. In addition, I used some colored pencils and chalk pastels. Creating this has really taught me the idea behind rhythm.

Recently, I have been taking a liking to furniture again. These two chairs were actually on the side of the road ready to head to the dump. I've been wanting to make my front porch more inviting without spending a lot of money while putting my artistic flair to work. Last night I actually found the time to draw and paint! I am hoping that you will see more artwork produced in the upcoming months. This little girl is lively and full of "happy". Her name is Haruka. In Japanese, this means "spring". She will be the last in my Kawaii series for this year. So enjoy! I recently had the privilege to meet a wonderful Waldorf teacher and she recommended these Waldorf Stars. They are very easy to make and are a wonderful edition to any window. It really captivates the spirit of art and that is color! Look at how bright and beautiful it turned out. The paper is made of bees wax and can be purchased from her store in Maine.
