"Shira Kitsune"

My interest latey has been folklore. So, after reading on some Germanic folklore that lead me to other cultures and mythology. I found a "Kitsune" hiding in the bushes! In Japanese mythology, a kitsune is an intelligent being and as possesses magical abilities that increase with its age and wisdom. Foremost among these is the ability to assume human form. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others—as foxes in folklore often do—other stories portray them...

"Vera & Kira"

     Lately, I have been browsing through one of my art books I just recently bought and decided to try some cartoon-style drawings and then of course painting them. Wow! I had so much fun developing these two characters. I was joking around with my daughter the other night about how I want to start a cartoon called "Meowy Powey"...and of course I got the "look" and then was advised to change the name.

Art Shows Coming Soon!

Hello all! I hope this week has been a good one for you. Last night, I was thinking about art shows and getting on the road with my work. So, soon I should be having a schedule coming out. Most of my works will be reproductions only at the art shows. So I am super excited!  Youtube videos will uploaded soon. "Miriel", the water spirit, "nixie".

Lurking in the murky waters of Elvendore, there swims a nixie named Miriel. She in search for the sea creature that came in to her home and stole most her mother's mystical jewelry. There was only one pearl necklace left that held great power to the creature who wore it.  Not happy, Miriel has vowed to seek and lure this monster to the high courts of Elvendore.
